Follow of the week: heartwarming illustration from Ukraine

Is your Instagram feed overdue an injection of warmth? Follow @vskafandre, a Ukrainian illustrator whose drawings went viral last year.

The series of illustrations that first caught the attention of the public were about the tender relationship the artist, whose real name is Snezhana Soosh, wishes she had with her father — the watercolour paintings depict a big, bearded man taking care of his tiny daughter.

Now Soosh focuses on all kinds of human relationships — between parents, loved ones and siblings. There are also occasional snapshots of everyday life that look like illustrations for an unwritten fairytale, and even the occasional behind-the-scenes glances into her studio.
