Zlatimir Arakliev is a Bulgarian fashion photographer who’s worked with publications like Elle, Vision, Vogue and Harpers’s Bazaar. His Instagram feed is a dizzying array of vivid colours and clashing patterns, yet most of these are images of everyday life in Sofia, rather than glossy fashion editorials or ad campaigns.

This particular image was shot in the centre of Sofia, where the streets and city’s most popular landmark, the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, shine like gold.

Arakliev shoots much of his street shots on analogue 35mm film — check out his Instagram for more hilarious takes on street style.
