Fabrikaffiti, Tbilisi’s first graffiti school, gallery and shop, is set to open on Saturday.

Housed at Fabrika, a multifunctional space set in a former textile plant, Fabrikaffiti will be led by Georgian artists Bacha Khoperia and Mirian Shengelaia, known as Dr Love and Miro.

The school will be offering month-long courses, encompassing the history of graffiti as well as practical art skills.

“Last year we already hosted a big graffiti festival, Fabrikaffiti 2016, that brought together around 40 artists in one space. Within the framework of the festival the artists painted the facade of Fabrika. This year we are planning to transform it into an international festival and invite famous artists from around the world,” Khoperia told Georgian Journal.
