Taking to Facebook to reveal the news, Kraviz stated yesterday that Galaxiid would be a sub-label to her label трип, which she founded in 2014. Galaxiid will focus mainly on “ambient, experimental, psychedelic and other cerebral types of electronica”.
Galaxiid’s first releases will be from Russian electronic act Species of Fishes and Biogen from Iceland, with other releases from Russia and Japan also in the pipeline.
Kraviz will present Galaxiid at London’s Printworks on 25 March. Also due to perform at the event are Dopplereffekt, Luke Vobert, 808 Statem, Aleksi Perälä and Russian duo PTU. You can find out more about the event here.
