Poland-based collective Sputnik Photos are crowdfunding for their latest photo book: Lost Territories: Fruit Garden.
The book will form part of a long-term project by Sputnik Photos entitled Lost Territories, which explores the the former Soviet Union as territories of painful experience and unfinished transformations. After several years of documenting the post-Soviet space, the collective has amassed a rich archive of photographic material, which serves as the starting point for books, exhibitions and installations, each taking on a different aspect of the territory.
Fruit Garden will document in particular the continuing impacts of a dehumanising regimen of invasive scientific experimentation.
