Moscow’s Beat Film Festival of documentary cinema is set to screen a film especially for dogs this Saturday.

The film, entitled Heart of a Dog (2015), is dedicated to Lolabelle, the beloved dog of the film’s director, musician and performance artist Laurie Anderson.

The initiative is being presented by critic Anton Dolin, together with his dog Lars. Responsible owners and their well-mannered dogs are invited to attend the screening, which has already taken place in New York and London.

The screening will take place at the “Pioner” open-air cinema in Sokolniki Park. The 2016 Beat Film Festival will run until 5 June.
