Ukrainian fashion label PASKAL releases new lookbook

23 April 2015

Ukrainian womenswear designer PASKAL has launched a new Autumn/Winter lookbook inspired by film director Lev Atamanov’s adaptation of Hans Andersen’s tale The Snow Queen. Intended to capture “the moment when everything freezes to ice” in the tale, the new collection uses a colour palette of blues and silvers, and uses laser perforation technology to create the effect of frozen water.

Launched by Julie Paskal, a former architect from Odessa, the collections are known for their minimalism and precision, with much of the detail executed using laser-cutting tailoring.
