Mikhail Baryshnikov joins Lil Buck in new video campaign for Rag & Bone

Ballet dancer Mikhail Baryshnikov makes an unexpected foray into contemporary street dance in the latest video campaign for fashion brand Rag & Bone. In the video, the ballerino-turned-actor showcases his contemporary dance skills alongside popular street dancer Lil Buck, who joins Baryshnikov in modelling pieces from the brand’s Fall/Winter 2015 menswear collection.

The “kinetic conceptual” film, shot against a stark background, is consistent with the New York-based fashion label’s aversion to straight catwalks. Preferring alternative ways to unveil new collections, Rag & Bone’s past ideas have included video and photo exhibits based on its collections.
