Mtkvarze

One of most relaxed of Tbilisi’s clubs, Mtkvarze is also one of the only ones that occasionally plays something other than techno. Based in an opulent former fish restaurant from the Stalin-era, Mtkvarze means “on the river Mtkvari”, and the structure literally juts out some 20 metres over the churning torrent below. The terrace shows you the river up close and personal, and is one of the best places to greet the dawn in the city.
